Q. Can I "try before I buy"?

A. Well sort of. I tend to post my writing on my Substack first and then later collect them into books. So if you head over to my Substack site you will be able to read some of my writing there - https://throughthestatic.substack.com

Q. Who do you write your poems for?

This is an interesting one. It's also sometimes asked like "who is your target market?".

Well, the truth is I don't write for a particular person/market. I don't sit down and think "I'm writing this for..." - rather, I often start with a couple of lines and maybe a theme or a picture and I start writing. For here the poem develops - often I don't know where it will end up. So, most of the time my writing experience is a personal step of faith. I start with the little that I have, step up and trust that God will meet me on the way and guide me.

I hope that what I write will resonate with anyone, be they 18 or 80+
